Yesterday, during its Annual General Meeting,
INO highlighted Mr. Jacques Topping’s 28 years of service
on its Board of Directors, including the last 7 as Chair.
A pioneer of the digital economy with the creation of the Informission Group, which later became Nurun, he became involved with INO in 1998. His unwavering belief in INO’s role in the economy and in the transformation of Quebec’s and Canada’s industrial landscape has guided the organization’s actions and inspired its mission. As a result, INO has strengthened its impact and reinforced its relevance within the innovation ecosystem.
Deeply committed to fostering the next generation, Mr. Topping has also stood out in recent years for his steadfast support of young technology companies as a mentor, patron, and investor. This dedication to nurturing emerging tech enterprises—reflecting his core values—has helped spark a new generation of innovators, whom INO now supports through its incubator Quantino.
Thank you, Mr. Topping, for your vision, leadership, and the lasting legacy you leave with INO and the entire innovation community!
