Marjolaine Giasson

Marjolaine Giasson is a member of the executive team and Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at La Maison Simons Inc., a fashion retail company present from coast to coast and founded in 1840. For the last three years, she has been supporting the transformation of the financial function and contributing to the organization's next phase of growth.

Prior to joining Simons, Marjolaine accumulated over twenty years of experience in finance and accounting, including roles at the Montreal offices of Andersen, PwC, and Molson Coors, earlier in her career. Subsequently, she held significant positions in various innovative, fast-growing, or transforming companies, including serving as Chief Financial Officer at Optosécurité, Innoventé, and Flyscan Systems. More recently at Prémoulé, she oversaw a restructuring of their manufacturing operations. Throughout her career, Marjolaine has been a key vector for expanding and evolving companies.

Marjolaine Giasson has been a board member of Aéroport de Québec Inc. since 2019, currently serving as the chair of the audit committee. She also chaired the audit committee of Sovar Inc, a university research commercialization company for Eastern Quebec institutions, from 2018 to 2021.

Raised in Quebec City, Marjolaine Giasson completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at Laval University, where she was the recipient of the Hermès award. She also holds an MBA from Laval University. In 2021, she completed her corporate governance training at the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés at Laval University. Marjolaine holds the CPA designation.
