Vanessa Grondin is a corporate director. She has been working for over 15 years in the manufacturing and agri-food industry, where she has held management positions in R&D, quality, project management, and the design of agri-food equipment. Ms. Grondin has extensive experience in food production, having worked in both startups and multinationals.
She held the position of Vice President of Operations at Lü Interactive Playground, a company that uses optical technologies in the commercialization of technological products dedicated to primary school-aged children. Before that, she was VP of Global Sales and Strategy at the Optel Group. Her role was to define business strategies and develop the product and service offerings that are marketed in new markets.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in food engineering and an executive MBA, both from Laval University. She is a recipient of the Raymond-Blais Medal, 2019, Young Graduate Award from Laval University. She is also a recipient of the 2018 Women’s Leadership Award from the Quebec Young Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Grondin received a scholarship from the Youth Secretariat in 2018, awarded to eight up-and-coming Quebec administrators, to take corporate governance training. She obtained the ASC designation in 2020. In 2020, she was a finalist for the Quebec Young Executive Award - ARISTA from the Montreal Young Chamber of Commerce and a finalist for the HONORIS GENIUS Award from the Quebec Order of Engineers.
Involved in her community, Ms. Grondin is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of 2 Degrees, a clean technology incubator, and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Moisson Québec. She also sits on the board of directors of the Quebec Airport and the Korok Group.
