Véronique Proulx is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec. She was previously the CEO of Manufacturiers et Exportateurs du Québec (MEQ) and Senior Vice President, Public Relations, for the parent company, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME).
Véronique Proulx has extensive experience in the export and manufacturing sectors in Quebec, having spent 14 years as director of international affairs at Laval Technopole and 4 years as president of Commerce International Québec, where she oversaw government and public relations.
She joined MEQ in March 2015 as director of communications, public affairs, and strategy. After being appointed vice-president, corporate affairs and strategy, in January 2016, Ms. Proulx was promoted to president and CEO in September 2017, and is the first woman to hold this position.
Véronique Proulx is a member of the INO board of directors. She also continues to be involved with La Dauphinelle, a non-profit organization that helps women in difficulty, particularly those who are victims of domestic violence, after serving for 10 years as chair of the organization’s board of directors.
She holds an executive MBA from Paris-Dauphine University and UQAM.
