DÉCLIC AI: Support to Select and Deploy an AI Project

Luqia is launching DÉCLIC AI, a new structured program designed for Québec SMEs that want to move from an identified artificial intelligence project to concrete deployment, with the right partner, at the right price, and within a rigorous framework that reduces risk.

In recent years, many companies have begun their digital transformation. Today, artificial intelligence has emerged as a major driver of productivity, competitiveness, and process optimization. However, unlike more traditional digital projects, AI projects present specific challenges: a wide range of technological approaches, highly variable offerings, difficult-to-compare promises, complex integration. The risk is no longer only technical; it is also strategic, organizational, and financial.

DÉCLIC AI was created in response to this reality. The program aims to answer a central question many SMEs face: how to choose the right partner for an AI project from the outset, to maximize impact and avoid costly detours.

“With DÉCLIC AI, we are able to create high-impact projects. We eliminate frustrations on both sides and ensure that a project that should take six to eight months doesn’t end up being completed three years late,” explains Jonathan Brodeur, Program Lead, AI Adoption at Luqia.

A Structured and Impartial Framework

The program is based on a call for projects aimed at companies with AI challenges, and a call for suppliers bringing together private providers, research centers, CCTTs, or qualified consortia. The objective: to create strong matches between real needs and appropriate solutions.

The process stands out for its rigorous framework and impartial approach. Companies first submit their challenge as-is: business objectives, impact indicators, available data, constraints, and proposed budget. Projects are then evaluated based on clear criteria - relevance, maturity, feasibility, and potential impact.

How does it work?

Selected companies are supported in formalizing a detailed and actionable specification document using a structured template. A call for suppliers is then launched. Responses are anonymized to limit bias, and evaluated in parallel by both the company and an independent technical committee. The final selection of the AI solution provider is made by the company, which benefits from an informed and comparative analysis of the options.

Reducing Risk, Accelerating Impact

Beyond selecting the right partner, DÉCLIC AI aims to secure the entire process: methodology, governance, risk management, timelines, expected outcomes, and long-term technological foundations. Once a proposal is selected, companies may also be eligible, under certain conditions, for financial support covering up to 45% of deployment costs incurred with the chosen provider.

The program targets at least 40 AI challenges, including 10 projects that will receive in-depth support, with priority given to sectors that are strategic for Québec.

Participate in DÉCLIC AI

Interested companies are invited to submit their applications now. AI solution and service providers may also express their interest as part of the calls for proposals.

Application deadline: June 19, 2026
